While on the whole I am reasonably happy with the performance of the wireless display adapter. There is one thing that annoys me which I would like to resolve. I haven’t been able to find a solution. I have a Surface Pro 4, running Windows 10, Ver 1607, Build 14393.693. I ran the Windows Wireless Adapter, and ran the firmware update. I added the device, it connected automatically and it worked nicely. However! In the Connected Devices, the MSDisplayAdapter_0F then remains in the Projectors field showing “not connected”- I don’t get a “connect” option.
The way I have been doing it is by removing the device and adding it. It gets annoying having to do that each time I want to use it. Surely I must be missing something? Has anyone had a similar experience? How do I fix this so that I can connect the device without having to remove and add device each time.
