Worse battery life after some updates

2% an hour is really good. That means you can get 50 hours out of your phone, so two days and some change. I think the issue is less with your phone and more with your expectations of your phone. Smartphones should be charged nightly. They're designed to operate that way. Also, batteries will not charge to 100%, the software stops them, because keeping a li-ion battery at 100% does damage to the battery. What will happen when you take your phone off the charger is that the battery will quickly drop several percentages. Within 20 or so minutes you should be at around 95-97 percent, depending on how much you use it right away.

I charge it late at night - 10-11 pm. On the next morning - around 9 or 10 am - the battery is still on 100%. So normally I was worried about the battery life, when one day it dropped with more than 10% during the night, when ussualy it standstill on 100% for more than 12 hours after a recharge (if I am not using the phone).

The three battery killers that I disable are: NFC/Tap+Send, Brightness (turn to Low then engage the Auto mode) and glance... With those off, my 'standby batter usage' went from 9% to 2%... Still chews up the battery pretty good when gaming, but I can usually make it through the day - 10-12 hours...

Also, if you have the T-Mobile version, make sure to turn off Wi-Fi calling when you don't need it. That eats battery like mad!
