worst service from nokia. plz help me guys :(

i bought nokia lumia 720 on february ,14. there was problem in my phone that it does not support compass.
So /i submit my phone to nokia care on 21st feb. They told me that i will get my phone back in maximum 10 days.
Today is 12th march and still my phone is there and they just called me and said that my phone still not compatible for compass even after they sent it to factory.
now they are saying that phone will again go to factory which i suppose again will take 20 or more days.
And there is no confirmation that my phone will be fine or whatelse.

what should i do now? plz suggest me.
I think i should ask for replacement.:sweaty::crying::angry:

I agree...you should go and get a replacement but that could prove to be difficult without a Nokia store front. Where did you buy it?

But I'd have taken it back to the store if you realized it was broken within a week...not have sent it in for warranty work; but too late to change that.

I had multiple problems with my phone as well like my vibrator stopped working, my phone wont boot as the boot-up got corrupted and couldn't be re written initially they told it would take 15 days for my phone to get repaired, i approached the head of the store and told them i am flying abroad so i need the phone asap for which they agreed and for the mean while gave me a spare phone which i could use till i get my phone back. after 10 days i got a call from nokia care that they have got a new phone in replacement of my old phone and told me to collect it.
Its been really an wonderful experience with nokia never had such wonderful after sales service.
try speaking to the store head and escalate the issue it would definitely help

Hi Raj,

The issues related to your cell are due to Hardware issues, probably IC - integrated circuit failure in mother-board, did your cell fell down ever???
I have had this issue when I broke my screen, after screen replacement, this H/W issue was not resolved.....phone used to act weird (city lens was not working, due to compass not being recognised by cell, automatic launching of bing search, erratic behaviour of cursor whilst typing...to name few)

Luckily I had my cell insured (brought it from Karol Bagh Nokia) and this H/W issue was resolved second time by Insurance agency.

You have two options, either suggest Nokia center to look for this H/W IC fault and you pay for that.
Secondly off market small shops too can fix this @ half the prices....please do intensive R&D before opting for second option.

well atlast i got replacement
my harsh words did a trick for me ))
yesterday they told me that they will send my phone again to factory, reply to that i blasted on them
and said dont you dare to send my phone again to factory, which i m sure will take 1 more month.
So today they called me and said we replaced your phone , so you can come and take it
i went there, at first they gave me yellow L720 , i had white, so i told them that i need only white one
so they provided me that too in just 10 minutes.
well lets hope that i dont get any problem in my new phone now
