Picked up a 520 on impulse and switched it to my main phone (from a z10). Wow nice compact package and does jt all..... Can't imagine why someone would take on a huge contract for an iPhone when this has it all for so little.... this is the future ... The era of selling phones for 600% profit will soon be dead with cheapo's as good as this....

moegrand, awesome you like it. Well, the main reason why people pick up iphons over 520 is it has a front camera, easy access of facetime, a huge app store(apps are very disappointing on WP at the moment), constant software updates(WP developers are very few at the moment, 4% market share). Almost everyone has an iPhone in the US, its a craze! WP is picking up, not only worldwide but hopefully in the US/Canada aas well. Nokia is not very well known there....

For the near future, Apple will be fine in the US. Around the workplace, all I see are iPhones, a few Androids, and just a couple Windows phones. I come in contact with a fair number of indigent people on government assistance, and many of them have iPhones/iDevices as well. It's a status symbol, and the herd mentality. I don't think that many people know about the Lumia series. Not to knock the iPhone. It's very smooth and works well out of the box. Good pictures with little effort. Everyone can iMessage/Facetime each other, too. Apple has good support.
