While they removed the branding and hid the Windows icon, you can clearly still tell it's a Lumia with it's unique look. That is definitely not a generic phone. But yes, the general public won't know that... and it doesn't really matter since it's a Wendy's commercial not a Lumia commercial. But the point is, the fact they used one instead of a typical iPhone is showing creative agencies and ad companies are using Lumias now and gaining traction.99% of people can't tell what phone that is. Looks like a generic phone.
