WP 7.8 update officially available for Lumia family in Nokia Care stores all over India

I had no problem installing any apps after 7.8 upgrade. although I don't use UC browser, i use creative studio and a bunch of other softwares and games, all downloaded/ installed/ran just fine.

only one thing isn't working is
Ringtone maker app.
It shows connect to Zune..
is ur ringtone maker app working?

yes ringtone maker app is working fine, i tested a mp3 which in already in my phone. i could cut it and save it and use it as my ringtone without any problem. only downside is, it only allows me to cut 20 seconds clips, no idea why it does not allow to cut 40 seconds clip as usual.
do you have any drm free mp3 on your device? i believe it does not allow us to cut drm protected musics.

Bad luck. Guys at Nokia Care Aurangabad near MGM couldn't update my Lumia 800 White.

And unable to find again on market place.

use bing vision on the QR code given in this page Ringtone Maker and Bluetooth Share for Windows Phone 7.8 now available | Windows Phone Central to download ringtone maker and try using it again.
I tested mine again just now. its working perfectly on my 710.
this app is not that good. i use audacity on my laptop and it lets me apply fade in/fade out effects, amplify/ normalize the clips and lets me cut 40 second duration ringtones, none of which can be done in ringtone maker and it only allows to pick up a 20 second clip from a mp3. I am sticking to ringtone-making-on-laptop-then-sync-by-zune routine as before.

Apps were a bit buggy to install at first fresh flash but now it's fine. Many of my Friends updated it too and all is well.

it is possible to make screenshots with wp8, so everyone wants to know if it is possible with wp7.8 as well.. sadly it was confirmed already by other users that there is no such function...

Developer unlock your phone, install bazaar on your PC and then deploy screen capture app, but I don't recommend to sync with skydrive, because then resolution looks awful.

In windows phone 8 this setting is found under the ease of access settings menu.

Thanks. It's a shame, my father has a 710 and needs his glasses to use it. He's thinking about changing to either Fruit or Andriod as a result (can increase font size on both these platforms). WP8 is still to expensive over here..
