WP 8.1: HTC Start Tile and HERE Maps Changes

Two big changes I noticed updating my HTC 8X to WP 8.1 was my HTC start tile (that shows time and weather) doesn't display anymore, and the offline HERE map for the USA is one single map (3.4 GB!) instead of separate state maps.

I posted these in the App forum, too, but thought most people will come here first.

Re: Maps- I checked the box next to USA so it started downloading the whole country. Individual state downloads are still available.
