WP 8.1: HTC Tile No Display

I am in no means blaming HTC, but didn't most if not all apps get recertified for 8.1 recently?? I pulled this from my store apps

How is it HTC's fault that we're running on a version of the OS that they don't support yet? They told us before the preview was released that they would have 8.1 upgrades ready in the coming months...we all knew and accepted the risks when we installed the developer preview.

For some of us getting WP 8.1 via the developers preview is the only way to update the phone. T-Mobile US is not offering any more updates to their 'flagship' HTC 8X Windows Phone beyond GDR2. I bought mine in January last year and have received only one official update to the phone since.

i don't understand why everybody ..not working this , not working that...it's not the final release...wait for 8.1 to be ready for everyone..not only for dev's . then we can complain about the bugs

Something's odd, I downloaded an app called World Clock Tile, it is behaving the same way as the HTC app.

I'm with you on the frustration of not having the HTC Tile working, I miss that clock on the tile, especially since they certified it for 8.1. Does beg the question of how close the virtual wp8.1 device in the dev toolkit was to the real thing...I doubt it would have shipped had they known about the issues with wifi...
