Have you tried to let it clear in background? If it won't decrease by itself, you may want to clear it? GDR2 onwards we have an option to clear this.

lol!!! , i use net services like IE , facebook , twitter , G+ , mail , whts app , viber etc.. very less , and usually use my phone only for photos and calls and messanging . but my other storage is 1.56 gb.

If we get half that I'll be happy. I have a feeling something major to get WP8 in line with the other mobile operating systems, like separate volume controls, quick settings or notification center will be left off....

If we don't get at least all of that I WON'T be happy. I am not thrilled about having to wait until it's finally available for download either. It took forever to get 'Amber'.

not sure what you mean by this, do you mean deleting temporary files? Because that doesn't affect the other catagory

Could you please let me know how to get the "Other-storage" problem? I've had my Lumia 920 since it was released in Q4 2012... I have not reset it once... I install and uninstall apps all the time, I take alot of photos and I surf Facebook quite a bit... My Other Storage: 338 Mb.

On my 8X, I have ?1.5gb temp files. I also have over 180apps/games. I sit with around 500mb to 1gb free. I also use the Storage Cleaner app a lot.
