WP in the US.

All right, those are all fair points. Although I would like to say that IE 10 (and presumably IE 11 in the near future) are not all that slow. My experience is that the overall load times are similar to other browsers, but there's a longer pause before the page actually starts to appear onscreen.

As far as media goes, you are right. Xbox Music is lacking in basic features and this absolutely must be fixed. Creating playlists is an incredibly backward and poorly thought out process, and the management there is so useless it almost might as well not be there.

Although I'm still not seeing your point on games aside from their relative scarcity compared to other platforms. Some big ones are definitely conspicuously absent, but there are plenty of great ones there too and probably enough to keep most people busy. I can't really comment any further on this though as I haven't really gotten into gaming on my phone so I'm not the best person to talk about this particular point

Maybe. Three main obstacles to WP going mainstream in the US:
1. The carriers refuse to cooperate.
2. Microsoft has been perceived as "uncool" for the past few years.
3. Lack of effective marketing on a MASSIVE scale. Do more stuff like THIS:

It's growing very fast. But it could be so much more.
