Since moving to 8.1 I've noticed that some appts I've made with Google calendar move back 1 day a few seconds after being created - has anyone else had this problem or got a solution please?

What time zone are you in? I was helping someone else that had a different issue, but Google Cal related that seemed to be related to time zones. Seemed to work fine if in US continental time zone.

I'm in the Uk. Also noticed that's only happening when I do an all day event.

It must be wp8.1 that's doing it as when I edit the event on another android device and sync it corrects itself. No amount of changing on wp8.1 calendar makes any difference though...

The person I was helping was also trying to create an all day event. Sounds very similar.

I'm in the UK and it does that for me when I create an all day event. Took me a while to figure out why things kept ending up in the wrong day! Other calendars work fine.

Is that just since WP8.1 or was it happening before as well for you?

What did you do to resolve it?

Anyone else got a solution to this?? - I'm sure the few on here can't be the only ones with this problem & MS must be aware even though its a dev copy....

I am having the same problem too. This problem only surfaces if I try to create a all day event. My walkaround is to create a 8am to 8pm event instead. The walkaround is not perfect, but it is adequate for most of my cases.
