WP8 Time/Date not updating automatically?

I can confirm that Windows Phone 8 uses the NITZ protocol to set the time.

Please check the link provided, if your carrier doesn't support the protocol, you have to set the time/date manually.

Yep, I'm on EE as well. I got a bit annoyed at having to reset the time every time I soft reset my phone, so I decided to find out how WP8 set it's date/time.

Additionally, search for ClockSync in the store. It's the best app I've found to manage this situation as I am also on the EE network (Orange customer). The author is responsive too, as I've suggested to him that he adds a date check as well as the time and he seems keen. Perhaps he will be even keener if you guys want that too? Let him know, if so.
