WPCentral needs a weekly video blog (a la Windows Weekly)...

As much as I enjoy Windows Weekly, the reality is that the team at WPCentral is young, enthusiastic, and positive... and could easily pull-off an hourly, weekly WP Roundup with Dan Rubino, Sam Sabri, etc. The Windows Phone ecosystem finally seems to have some momentum and I think we deserve a show like this for the growing crowd of WP enthusiasts.

Would anyone else watch this?

I know for myself that WPCentral has recently become my favorite site for Windows Phone & Windows news--passing WinSupersite, The Verge, ZDNet, CNet, etc. And the reason is the energy that the team brings to their reporting. It's not all rainbows & unicorns... but they're optimistic here... and I really enjoy coming here.

It's something we're considering. There's a lot on our plate now, including myself just moving, etc. so we're always considering new ideas. Part of the problem is Sam is in California, Mark is in NY and I'm now in MA, so it's not like we can just shoot something all in one place. But we're tossing around some ideas. Also: yeah, I'm not sure if anyone would watch either ;)

Of course we would!

But considering the problems they have trying to get a podcast routine set up (Although you could technically blame Jay for being in the UK, but I wont, since I am also a UK resident), a weekly podcast would seem impossible at the moment.

I think people would watch. Online polls show that WPCentral is WP owners' favorite site for news, etc.

Windows Weekly is a good show... but it lacks the energy and enthusiasm of WPCentral. I genuinely believe one of the reasons Windows Phone has endured the many mistakes of Microsoft (regarding Windows Phone) is because of communities like WPCentral that have kept hope alive.
