Xbox Companion App?

I gotta give them credit on it working over 3G though. Typically, this type of app, you'd have to be on the same network.

Ok, I may have been a little too hard on this app. Its pretty damn nice when using with the Zune an Netflix app. Now they need a Dominos pizza app, and I won't have to move off my couch!

The app is beautiful and has some great features. Unfortunately, I have been seeing a few bugs that make it somewhat annoying.
The right arrow got stuck and wouldn't stop selecting right. Had to reset the Xbox.
When I had to accept an app update the app disconnected and wouldn't reconnect until I was done with that menu (which meant I had to go find my Xbox controller just to hit 'A'
The app has crashed twice and had to be restarted.
Occasional random disconnections, and the app takes about 30 seconds to reconnect.

That happened to me too. Kept happenening even even after I shut off the app and used the controller.

Why couldn't Microsoft add a sleep feature to the Xbox 360 that would make it soo much easier to turn the console on using the compnaion app.

I don't think that would be necessary. The Xbox controller uses Bluetooth. All they would have to do is have the phone emulate what the Xbox controller does to turn the Xbox on using Bluetooth.

I think the companion app is good for what it does. You search for something to watch (or listen to). You select whether to watch it on Netflix, Hulu, or Zune. Then it plays. I don't think it's supposed to completely replace the controller.

I honestly can't wait to sneakily enable the companion on friends Xboxes so I can take control of them! Muwhahaha :D
