Hi, I see there has been a music folder added to onedrive. I have uploaded some of my music to this and am streaming the music over wifi, all good I like this part.

Here lies the problem. You can download the music to your phone for offline listening ie whilst away from a wifi connection or when you don't want to use up your data allowance. The problem is when you want to delete the music from the phone it also deletes it from Onedrive which to me is daft.

What does everyone else think?

It's a long time problem with the music app.
I'm not using the onedrive music folder, but you also can't delete an album from the phone, for instance, without removing it also from your collection - you have to delete song by song, wich is ridiculous. I'm guessing it's the same sort of problem.

I serioulsy can't understand why is it so hard for Microsoft to correct these things - it's so obvious!

The same for gapless playback, etc, etc, etc...

I'm having a different issue. If you don't mind me adding on to my own issues here:

I have the music folder, I uploaded all my music to OneDrive (32GB) in addition to have a Music Pass. But all my music won't show up in xbox music on my phone when I select streaming. But they do show up on the web browser. In fact, I uploaded all my music on Saturday. It finished uploading then. Today is Tuesday.

If I go to the web page, they are all there. All the songs. I've restarted my phone multiple times. Closed the app through multitasking, and I still can't get all my music to load! This is also the same issue with the Windows Xbox Music app. It won't load all my content from OneDrive. What a nightmare :( Any ideas?

To the OP. Have you tried going into the file explorer and deleting the songs that way? Will that delete the song on your OneDrive?

I'm having the exact same problem, only a portion of my songs are showing in streaming music. And most of the artist/album tags are not correct... Haven't found a solution to this. Running a FIN CV (no pfd) Lumia Denim on L1320.

Even with their latest update, it still isn't working :'(

Good idea, tried this it leaves the music intact in Onedrive, however it screws the database in the phones Xbox music app. Throws up errors and cannot re-download. Come on Microsoft polish this ****.
