Xbox music download feature: how does it work?

When i select multiple songs in Xbox music hub there appears a download option at the bottom i wonder what does it do

What device are you using? Windows Phone (which one and which OS/firmware)? Xbox One? Windows 8/8.1 PC?

i m using nokia Lumia 520 i would have showed you a screenshot but i couldn't find an option to post photos in WP CENTRAL
