Xbox music monthly credits problem

I am grandfathered in to where I get ten free music credits a month.

So the issue is how come I can only use those credits when I purchase them through my windows phone but not from xbox music app from windows 8.1 desktop? I have to actually buy them.

Is anyone else having this problem?

What version of Windows Phone are you using?

​I would guess you'd need to use continue using the Zune Marketplace to get the free songs. I doubt MS would spend time integrating that functionality into the new app after deciding to end that plan.

The how-come is simple: the program isn't written that way. :wink:

I mostly use credits once a month through Zune 4.8 running on my newer Win 7 desktop, and only occasionally on my Lumia 1020 running 8.0. I haven't begun to fret over not seeing a credit-use option among the several I see for a selected track on my 8.1 RT. You could install Zune on your 8.1 desktop and struggle less, imstrugglin. By the way, you actually don't have to buy anything. :wink:
