Microsoft opened up the Xbox Music API to devs. They will even let devs get a cut of the profit. Good news all around. Hopefully some innovative devs really do something great with this.

Hope this means we'll soon see xbox music on Bluesound and Sonos devices. I have a Bluesound speaker, and would love to be able to listen through that.

Is anyone else a little surprised we're a month on from Xbox Music being opened up and we haven't seen any new apps nor any of the major subscription capabilities added to existing popular music apps?

I know it's only a month but I at least expected to see an article saying that some developer had one in the works.

Excited to see what does happen (if and when it does) once some talented devs get on the case though.
