Hey I bought the Xbox one gears of war and I wanted to know that do I need internet connection to start my first time startup .

As far as I know Microsoft assumes everywhere has internet available. it's not, even in America.
My biggest complaint of xbox1

Your newly bought xbox one need internet connection to perform initial start up. Will downlod aprox 600mb files in order to make your console works

The console will work without Internet but will not have all features/updates. But a brand new console WILL work fine.

I as well have to use internet sharing from my 1520 and sign my profile in on Xbox1 to play/save disc games or start digital downloaded and installed on HD games.
Only satellite internet out here, wont do it until I hear better reviews for online gaming

Yes, I only use it to sign in my gamer profile then turn Mobil internet sharing off after signing in and I'm good, just annoying.

How can I use the internet sharing and what all can I do in Internet sharing like seeing news, chat, download games because I have 50 Mbps in my mobile
