I am guessing the answer is no since a USB monitor relies on the USB port for both power and a video signal but is there a way to directly hook up an Xbox one to an AOC usb monitor that has been working as my laptops second screen and play games without hooking both devices uo to the same network and going through the Xbox app on Wundows 10?

Ok...so there is no direct way to get Xbox video output on a USB screen. So here s how I managed it.

1. Set up a router in Client mode to hook up to the wifi hotspot here.

2. Hook up the Xbox to a TV and get on Wifi. Update everything, turn streaming options on. Log on to your account while online and set up automatic login. Disconnect from wifi.

3. Hook up your laptop to the router with an Ethernet cord with its wifi off and update everything. The router should be providing internet to your laptop.

4. Hook up the Xbox to the router with an Ethernet cord and turn it on.

5. Launch the Xbox app and drag it to the USB screen. Start streaming and playing games.
