Xbox One vs. PS4

DX12 50% More power on xbox

It's funny how some people are only just realizing this. I'm assuming its those that don't care much about gaming. I've known about the theoretical boosts since build last year when they first announced it. What I didn't know however was how much a boost it would receive. Yesterday's announcement shed a bit of light on that and I'm impressed.

Having no competition is never a good thing. But Sony deserves to die: they have ruined gaming for far too long.

Well I can't say that Sony is going to die exactly... But with the way the console markets' landscape is looking with Sony's financial trouble leaving them unable to be flexible with marketing (price drops, promotions etc) and Microsoft's announcement of leaving the $349 price tag permanent along with DX12 improvements and other recently announced features. It's looking like the tide will likely turn back in Xbox's favor at least here in the U.S. Depending on the feature set translations I'm sure it'll also be that way else where depending on how quickly those features are rolled out in those countries (with the exception of Japan of course)

But retro is the new chic... Should bust out some of that 2D tennis!

I wait to see dinner DX12 XB1 footage... Excited for what it's to come.

So my question is... Is the Xbox One going to receive a major OS update for a complete Windows 10 rewrite?

Ugh, the PS4 re-took the monthly crown, besting the Xbox One in January NPD sales. Microsoft was foolish to jack the price back up. They need to win every month, not just a few of them.

Is there any explanation about the differences on show here? Pretty huge difference if you ask me... Looking like the "1000x more power" argument is falling apart...
