Can anyone tell my why the Yahoo Mail app is still syncing after I downloaded Windows 8.1? I am not able to remove the Yahoo app because it is grayed out and still syncing. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do to get this corrected?

Disable all data connections. The Yahoo app will then stop syncing and you can either uninstall it or reconfigure.
