One more year till I get to upgrade the 900! Getting the 900 summer of 2012 then finding out that the 920 releases couple months later. T.T

I'm hoping that something even better than the 1020 is released by the time I upgrade.

All of us WP7 users are excited to see what generation #2 of WP 8 will bring. Heck, I am looking to move up to a Nokia 900 from this silly little Titan 2. Consider yourself far wiser then me....

Can't believe you didn't upgrade snowmutt!

at $90 for a 520 there is nothing stopping anyone from getting into Windows Phone 8.

I'd rather stay with 900 and upgrade to a high end device next year. 520 isn't an improvement to me, mainly due to camera.

I remeber you saying that, rdubmu, but I have had ZERO luck with HTC products. It cuts off my music on Zune. I can not recieve any pictures through texting. It has huge lag on my three capacitive buttons. It does not load up web sites about 1/3 of the time. Love the screen and screen size, like the feel and weight, and really want to like HTC. But it just won't let me. Glad you got a good one.

I am happy to stay on WP7 until XBOX music irons out it's bugs. I am sure it will, but I love the service, so I will stick with Zune for now. Just searching for that perfect deal on a 900....

The Craigslist around my area has a bunch of 900s for sale around $100. Im hoping to find a 820 on cl though. :p

My 900 is in excellent condition, and runs 7.8 perfectly. As mentioned by others, I am cross platform junkie too. My main phone is an iPhone 5, but sometimes I switch to my Lumia 900. The only problem i have on it is Slacker Radio. In 7.5, it ran fine, but its very slow in 7.8. Reinstalling it does no good.

Financial reasons--contract.

Makes sense. I buy my phones off contract so that part doesn't matter to me.

I am just proud of myself for not even considering a 1020. Though the true follow up to the 920 will be harder to not get. I think that once available high end games don't run well on the 920, I will probably get the next.

The changes in 8.1 has improved Xbox Music a lot but it's still no Zune.

AT&T should check up on the contracts of anyone with one-year remaining on their service contract and extend them the offer of trading in their current device and participate in Next.

You can do a device trade-in with AT&T or Nokia.

Nokia offered me $15.00 for my old Sammy Focus lol..
