What was/is your favorite Microsoft product of all time? Hardware? Software? A Lumia phone? Windows 3.1? So many choices, let's sound off here.

To be honest, as much as I love current gen stuff, the nostalgic part of me seriously points back to windows 3.1. So good!! lol

I could be wrong, yet the 520's sure seemed like a hit.
I remember being shocked that my 521 drove full size closed headphones easily with good volume.

Silverlight was the best development I've used in my 40 or so years of programming. Os/2 was the best os. Shame Microsoft killed os 2 with win 95.

I can't say that I really have a favourite, I've been using Microsoft Software and Hardware since the Windows 3.1 era so it's very difficult for me to pinpoint one specific thing that is my favourite. I suppose Vista is one of my favourites as it was a game changer that, while hated by a lot of people, laid the groundwork for 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

Surprisingly I only retired my 520 to the BestBuy recycle bin when the Lumia 640 LTE that had been my daily driver for a year, became a backup phone. Now the 640 is connected to the wifi and bluetooth sound setup at home basically driving any of my streaming audio needs which the 520 had done for maybe 2 years or so.

Favourite hardware? The original XBox maybe. So many good games. I don't know why they don't release these on the XBOne.

The other piece of hardware that is outstanding is the mobile mouse 6000. I have 2, and in spite of spending between 50 and 200 on replacement mice, nothing comes close.
