So Google added the ability to pair your mobile device with your TV (or PS3, etc.) so as to use the mobile as a controller for sending videos to the TV.

My experience is that this works fine after the initial pairing, but once I've shutdown my PS3, done other things with my phone, that it won't work again until I kill the pairing and recreate it. I can see the "Send to TV" button, but pressing it has no effect.

I'm wondering if anyone else has played with this feature and run into this problem.

Hows that possible? Can u explain is there an app or are u talking about chromecast? Is it available on windows phone 8 too?

https://www.youtube.com/pair

Visit that URL using your device or app.

So I have paired up my PS3 and my Windows Phone, but on Windows Phone (using IE to visit m.youtube.com) I cannot enable and disable the functionality via the icon as I am supposed to be able to. The icon highlights to show it has registered the press, but nothing happens, where as it should be changing between grey and blue depending on whether you've enabled or disabled the Send to TV function.

IE on WP8 works for this under settings on the YouTube mobile and desktop websites.

As stated, the PS3 integration is flaky at best. Integration with Google TV is better, but still not perfect.
