Check your specs folks. If you don't have enough power that is okay - just think of your Rift win as a discount toward getting up to speed. Good luck all!

To run the Rift compatibility check tool:
1. Go to https://ocul.us/compat-tool to download the compatibility check tool
2. Open the tool and click Start

Oh, wow, thank you for this. I didn't think my computer would be able to run it, but it says everything passes, so that's good to know!

Awesome!! A few years back, we were so elated with 2D games; but the amazing technology these techy-humans have made has given me another excuse to stay indoors and enjoy some augmented reality. I usually see video games as an escape from reality; it's kind of cathartic (I would say). Anyway, such a privilege if I could try one of these out! :)

PS. I wonder if they'll ever release the Sims on VR (hahahaha, a simulation of life in 3D = life). #Inception

I have been very interested in VR but the right machine to pick has been a struggle. I have followed the Oculus back when they were independent and so far I like their product the most. I have heard of the Oculus 2 and look forward to seeing what improvements have been done.
