Just to know if I understand correctly:
The listed phones in the blog article receive official W10M today, and will get redstone insider updates and after release official redstone updates. All phones which are not on the list will stay officially on W8.1 and if they use the insider preview, they get W10M with build 102586.164 and updates for this build (102586.XXX) until redstone is released.
Is this correct?
If so, could it be possible to get somehow unofficial redstone builds for this phone?
Let me elaborate:
They're saying that performance was not on par with the other models (which I also find kind of hard to believe, a 430 performs better than a 925?) and thus they don't want to push it onto the regular users as an update; and I get that. However they could have certainly kept it as an option to at least allow a subset of the x2x devices to opt-in to Insider builds, on a no-guarantees basis.
They will have to cut the support some day, of course, and I understand that. However it certainly didn't have to be literally the minute after W10M ships.
And this is in addition to the fact that the original plan was to gradually expand the list of supported devices in "waves", which has been widely reported via various channels throughout the past year, and as recently as today, of all days:

Yeah. That performance excuse they are selling is really hard to believe.
