Using Cortana while biking?

So I sadly found out that when I try to read text messages or reply to text messages while riding on my bike that when you activate Cortana (through headphones) she unlocks your phone and turns on your screen which means your leg starts selecting things. Has anyone found a setting around this? I can't find one...

Seriously, I'm trying to picture how/where you have the phone that your leg is touching the screen?

Flip...it..over...

Sounds like you have the screen facing your leg. Have it facing out instead of in.

Haha woops on the typo. Also these are all just work around but i'm coming to see that there isn't a setting around this with a bluetooth device. :/
