Windows 10. Explorer.exe is dead. I am not able to make it work at all.
I recently upgraded from W8.1 to W10 using the bottom right corner shortcut. The update went well, without any apparent problems. However when I started my laptop, it doesn't respond at all to windows button- no start screen, no drives accessible, nothing. Only the desktop staring at me. I read somewhere that there's some update by windows which is causing this problem, but without explorer I am not able to locate that even.
Disappointed with microsoft. BIG TIME.
