google is plagued by its own issues so as to say. For example stagefright bug . How many phones got a fix for that ? While google's zero team is busy pointing out others vulnerabilities it is doing to little to help its own OS. Here apple can be the benchmark. iOS 9.0 had bugs. Just few days later comes 9.0.1. But MS bleh :amaze: When you all got Lumia denim update ? Bugs are less may be . But features are very less too . And MS is dragging on the mobile build like a car on a quarter mile . Is MS waiting for something ? Ggod knows. Only thing MS might be eyeing can be the holiday season of Christmas. Or want people to buy 950 rather than update their existing OS.Funny world we live in

Wouldn't you guys prefer to wait until it is ready?
Yes, but who knows when this will happen? No "official" statement yet.

Or would you rather go down the google route of persistent updates, to fix bugs that didn't get fixed in the previous builds?
Better than delays and excuses all the time like MS does.

Or, wait until your provider has added all of their bloat, compromising whatever google got sorted?
No need for that. Get a Nexus device to have pure Android. Or pick one of the hundreds of customs ROMs for almost every device. As they are not locked down you have the freedom to choose what fits you.

MSFT don't HAVE to offer any form of OS updates
Sure. Just as people don't have to buy phones from MS :)

950 / 950xl available Dec 2 over here, so pretty good chance release will be just after that.
Not neccessarily.

The final build maybe available in December. I think Lumia 530 will not get the update because of low internal memory ...what do you think Lumia 520 is eligible or not?
