Uh the only way you can change to 64-bit is installing Windows from scratch.

If you try to upgrade to 64-bit it will just refuse to do so. Back up your stuff, etc. and prepare to start over with that computer.

Well, everything on there is to be considered toast (so backup backup backup the information and write down what programs you got) so it wont be a concern.

If something goes wrong, try installing again.
I find fresh installation to be fairly foolproof.

You can't "upgrade" your 32 bit system to 64 bit. You need to clean install, and format your drive/partition on the way with the windows 10 64 bit DVD you'll boot from.
Make sure you image your current system using Macrium Reflect or similar, so you can revert to your current system if you need to.
You can always download a 32 bit ISO file if you ever need one.
Short answer to your question is, "no, if something goes wrong your system won't revert back to 32 bit because you'll be formatting that partition".

You will not have to format your partition. You will have to reinstall it from scratch. The file system is not 32/64 bit dependant. Do not listen to the guy above me. You will have to do a clean install.

Did it at last, everything went smooth. All my media are intact as well, didnt have to format my drive. Can't believe windows 10 is running so well.
