[SOLVED] Whatsapp does not sync... until it's opened

Hi,
I registered because I can't seem to find a solution for this issue.

I've a Lumia 640 LTE with the latest Insider Preview (14379), but I think this has happened for a while now, maybe 3 or 4 updates.

Whatsapp only syncs messages when it's opened, and with that I mean that it doesn't receive them in background. I receive no notification, and I've double checked the allowed background apps and battery (with Windows management and always allowed tested) and it seems to make no difference.

Has someone experienced something like this? What could be the cause?

Did you tried a soft reset? Whatsapp was just updated and it works perfectly
