When I turn on ransomware protection (controlled folders) within Windows Defender I noticed it blocks certain Windows 10 / file explorer functions. Eg when I try to create a new folder in file explorer through rmb -> new folder (ctrl + n) within a protected folder; the action gets blocked (but there is no notification to unblock it).
Another example which happens sometimes (not always) is when I try open a Word file in file explorer, make some changes than want save but it gives an error that the file is not found or such (even though I added Word to allowed apps).
Is there some Windows or File explorer .exe process that I perhaps can add to the allowed apps to solve these issues? Thanks in advance.
