one laptop got update to windows 10 2004 and the other one didnt

Hey guys,
I have two laptops one a Dell E7240 and the other one a new Asus zenbook 13. the Dell got updated to windows 10 2004 2 days ago but the Asus one still uses the 1903 version and says there is no new update.
any idea why?

There are various reason, one could be both are on different update streams and the other could be there is a known issue for the Zenbook. Or the OEM wants to add any improvements / driver updates. Who knows...

did you click on check for updates? I upgraded four different computers last night without any problems other than those that used efi killed my dual boots. all of them said the same as yours but when I clicked to check for updates, it showed up.

Patience: my Surface 3 is slooowly installing 1903 -I may or may not wait for it, and my SP2 reads that 2004 is still coming -"when it's ready, we'll tell you right here". My SP6 is on the road, and who knows what state it is in but I am fully confident it is as well as its peers are in their different states -and they're all nice Surfaces.
