If Windows 11 can run Android apps, does that mean that the Duo 2 could be a Win11 machine?

We've already seen the leaked version running on a Lumia 950.

Google must be quite upset.

Facebook probably isn't thrilled that Teams is about to land with a pre installed user base of billions.

And Playstation is going to end up looking incredibly small...

Windows 11 is much more than a "reskinned Windows 10"

Thoughts?

There's going to be a Windows 11 mobile traditional smartphones and windows 11 x mobile. For Duo 2
With the same technology they can run win32 apps on Windows 11 X foldable PCS like the surface Neo.
If you need to most likely you probably won't

They have always shied away from defining the Duo as a "phone", I always found the Android on the Duo to be strange, but a Duo like device that can dock (note the emphasis given to the docking abilities in the w11 launch) and can run Android so it gets around the "there's no apps" criticism that used to bedevil MS phones but can run full windows apps. That device would come close to what Nadella called "the ultimate mobile device"

Possibly, but going at it without Google Play Services is a serious hurdle and Google knows it, so I imagine they are indifferent.

I don't imagine 11 moving the needle too much since Teams doesn't compete with Facebook and there isn't much overlap between Windows 11 devices and Playstations.
