I have a Lumia 735 and have the official Facebook app installed. On the news feed it seems to show the same posts but with updates as to whether or not another Comment or Like has been added. So for example at the top of my feed is a friend who has updated their Profile Picture, it has 1 comment and 5 Likes. Fine. But I scroll down a bit and the same post is there again, this time with 1 comment and 4 likes. Scroll down further, it's there again with 1 comment and 3 Likes. I can see what it is doing as it is showing me updates to the post in my timeline, but why does it have to show the other posts! It's ridiculous. If that post get 20 Likes it would be in my feed 20 times! And this is just one post. All the others behave in the same way.
Please tell me this is not by design and there is something that can be changed to rectify this.
