4g toggle??

My house has lies in a poor connection area for lte. 3g works great there but when my 822 switches between the 2 it loses all signal for a moment. I use WiFi at home and this wouldn't be a problem, but I have a real hard time with texts not sending. Anyone figure out how to turn off the lte? I was able to download an app to do this on my previous android phone

Owning the phone myself, I am currently unable to toggle it. Too bad I already live in an LTE area...

I live in one as well. For some reason my home is in a bad spot.

Hi all.

Not an expert at all, but if you want to switch off LTE (or your device switching from 3G to LTE) in settings > cellular > Highest connection speed you select only 3G.
Or you can enter ##3282# then settings > network type and choose 3G only

No dice. Seems as tho Verizon blocked the connection speed selection...

I have similar issues except iIm in 3g only area at the moment. The only options I have is Global Mode, LTE and CDMA, and LTE, GSM, or UMTS. No option for 3g only.
