I'm having a rather strange problem with the 3G connection with O2 on my Titan - it only seems to work for certain things. The problem seems to happen all the time in 2G or 2.5G areas and occasionally in 3G or 3.5G areas.

Here at work with an average 2G signal, the following are working/not working for example:
    Receiving emails (all accounts)
Sending emails with no attachments on Gmail + AOL accounts
Updating Facebook/Twitter stream within People hub
    Wonder Reader
    Cyanide & Happiness
1/2 of FFFFound: the live tile updates to latest image

    Not working:
Updating news feed in Facebook app (we're having trouble getting data right now, please try again later)
Sending emails on Hotmail accounts (we're having a problem connecting to m.hotmail.com - try again later - error code: 80072EE2)
Sending emails with attachments on AOL or Gmail accounts
Sharing pictures to either SkyDrive or Facebook
Toothpaste For Dinner (similar comic strip app to C&H above)
Other 1/2 of FFFFound: unable to load images if you actually open the app

The problem seems to have got worse, since I switched over to my Titan from my 7 Pro (both phones were sim-free & the sim is O2 PAYG).
At first, after the switch, the mobile connection wouldn't work at all until I edited the APN:
    APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
    Username: payandgo
    Proxy server/URL:
    Proxy port: 8080
I found these settings online, since the ones given to me by O2 wouldn't work at all.

I appreciate signal type and strength will vary but is it normal for somethings to connect and others not?
    Any ideas?

Something's happened. I had two emails with attachments sitting in a Hotmail outbox and one of them has now gone.
Also, I forgot to mention that I could only access the Marketplace by WiFi, so that'll be the acid-test later, when I get some time.
