Issue in configuring VPN

Hello All,

I have subscribed for a VPN service which supports IPsec IKEv2 native client protocol. I have tried to configure VPN on my Lumia 1520 with the login information. However whenever I try to connect, it keeps on popping for user id and password. Is IPsec IKEv2 native client protocol supported on Windows Phone 8.1? Is there anything I am doing wrong?

Ask your VPN provider if they have certificates you can use for IKEv2 type. You can install and use the certificate instead of username/password. It works for me fine with a certificate.



Currently the following VPN providers support WP 8.1:
12vpn.com
vpntraffic.com

There is no support for PPTP/L2TP VPN types in WP8.1 (at least not in the dev preview), let's hope there will be support in the final release.

I have also tried hide.me and for me it works, at least is the only one that worked with the ikev2.

I had bad luck with this one. Developer offers $2 trial; I STRONGLY suggest doing this before making a major investment!!!
