Sky Drive question

I have hotmail account X that is my "microsoft account" on my mobile phone

I am trying to use outlook account Y to open files from skydrive but it tells me i do not have permission


Can I only use the microsoft account that is attributed to my phone for skydrive?

It's best using the same Microsoft account, but you should be able to "see" sky drive folders/files from another account if you have shared those folders/files with "account Y." I have both accounts (actually @outlook/@live/@Hotmail/@gmail/etc.), but they all go to my Hotmail account and I sign into everything with my Hotmail account. That way it is very simple. If you want emails from another account to be separate, just make a rule so those emails go to a different Inbox folder.
