Hi,

Does anyone have these settings from their phone that they could share with me please? I have tried the guides on the Voda website but they don't seem to work when entered and they don't look that complete.

Thanks.

More than happy too if I could actually find where to retrieve them off of the phone. I have the option to add additional but can't see where the hare saved. I used the connection setup from Settings to install connection info.

Same here, but I can't send MMS messages, so thought there must be something wrong with the APN. Are you able to send/receive MMS messages okay?

Thanks. I tried texting WEB to 40127 and did receive an automatic reply, but never received any settings through, so don't think that works, well for me anyway.

I saw the settings on that eForum but they don't all tally up, MCC: 234 and MNC: 15 ??, and I'm not sure what the MMSC Port and "WAP Gateway URL" and "Port" should be as those are the fields you have on the 8X.

Try these:

With data plan:
Internet:
APN: Internet
Username: web
Password: web
Rest empty:
IPv: Use IPv4 only

MMS:
APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap
WAP gateway: 212.183.137.12
WAP gateway port: 8799 or 9201
MMSC: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
MMSC port: Leave empty
IPv: Use IPv4 only

Without data Plan: (Prepaid, pay as you go)
Internet:
APN: pp.vodafone.co.uk
Username: web
Password: web
Rest empty:
IPv: Use IPv4 only

MMS:
APN: pp.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap
WAP gateway: 212.183.137.12
WAP gateway port: 8799 or 9201
MMSC: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
MMSC port: Leave empty
IPv: Use IPv4 only

I hope this helps.

Yep, tested it and works fine. Have always been receiving SMS, it was just an issue with MMS, but yeah sent myself one and received it no problem, whereas before I couldn't.
