I just went on the website and it still shows as shipping today...so I don't think they are, but lets hope they are, this could only be good news and help increase demand!

Ha ha i know, everybody told me so but it was a chance I was gonna take anyway.

How much was the phone at the Microsoft store?

$50 more then Verizon, so mine was $549 but did the Bing t on challenge and they took off $25 plus gave me $25 windows app store credit plus I as in Delaware so no sales tax! I'm quite happy! I'll check out the black one next week and if I want I'll just trade up

tc, will retail verizon stores honor the online discount code at all?

Its worth a shot. Corporate retail has the ability to type a coupon code in at the checkout process. And they don't get paid based on price of phone, so they would have no reason not to give it a shot. But if the code doesn't work...don't expect a manual override of the discount.

Also very unlikely they will know anything about an online code, so if you don't have the code, they probably won't be able to help find it either.

FYI: if you have not purchased your device please call the store before making the trip there.

Selling out fast is a good thing, especially if it is selling a lot better than they thought it would. Would love to see the red one!

question is, how many did they have to sell, seems like stores are selling them but online is still shipping, it would be nice to see online sell out as well!

I doubt online will sell out. If it does then both Nokia and Microsoft will be working on their press releases tonight

Pre-ordered the black with VZW as that only comes out to be about $5 more than Newegg at full retail.

Kept unlimited data but pretty sure I'll loose the PDA SMS 2000 code when I activate it. I love that damn code, I added it in 2006 and I figure it's saved me almost $800 in text messaging fees over that time lol. All good things...

i hope it does. maybe that means they will introduce the red and cyan (hopefully at the same time and not staggered) faster! i want the red and my friend wants a cyan. man, they would be selling so many more phones if they offered these colors on launch =(

I got mine this morning. I was 4th in line at 7:30 am. By 9am, the line was a good 100 people deep. Took about 30 minutes to complete (coming over from T-Mobile). When I left, there was still at least 100 people in line.

I love it so far.

Where did you get yours, a Microsoft Store? I walked in to a corporate Verizon store in midtown Manhattan around 10:30 and was out 15 minutes later with it. The rep seemed a little surprised by the number of 928s they had sold, but I think it was still a small number (~5)

I got mine at the Verizon store on the Microsoft main campus in Redmond. The line numbers probably won't be the same around the country, as these were all Microsoft employees. I could have gone to a retail store and it probably would have been faster, but it was more convenient to just walk across the campus. Plus I'm technically 'at work' so I can still do my normal work while I'm waiting.

I just got mine today at Verizon store in Manhattan.

Two stores near mid-town are all sold out so far.

However, the store where I bought their last Lumia 928, only had 3 in store today... so sold-out does not mean too hot .... the other store I don't know how many units they have available today.
