On my Lumia 530, I have my email setup from outlook.com. I received a email with a mp3 attachment, holding down the attachment I get the options to save or cancel download....both grey out and I cant use either one. So how do I find the attachment download and where are these stored?

1) How much free space do you have on your phone?

2) Do you have "store new music, videos and podcasts" set to your msd card under settings -> storage settings

3) Lastly and importantly is this your work / personal phone which is enrolled to a domain and managed by a policy set by IT?

1. I have 1.5G on phone and 1.2G on SD card
2. looking now....it's set to store on my SD card.
3. This is my own personal phone...no.

Looking through the phone and SD card....I can't find the mp3 file anywhere. I have to go to the email to find it and play it from there.

Well I did a few tests and strangely I now have the same problem...:grincry:

The work arounds are as follows:

1) Use maestro by hidden pineapple
2) Use onedrive or cloud storage links
3) Upgrade to WM10 and use the new outlook app (however that may not be an option that is open for you on the 530 :( )..

Well at least I'm not going crazy.....

I all ready did a work around...the long way around. I just opened my email client and moved the mp3 to onedrive and from there added it to my music folder on my phone. A PITA but at least I got it.
