Lumia 640 Win 10 update ends up with an error 0x80073712

After having to go through factory reset after completion of W10 update on Lumia 640 (lost all keyboards and restarting every 10 minutes), I was able to have it to start behaving normally.
However I'm unable to complete the installation of Windows 10 Mobile (10.0.10586.164) update. It always ends up with an error code: 0x80073712

Completely baffled. Any advice?

if this persisits even after installation of build .164 , rollback to 8.1 aand try the upgrade process again. this could happen because of broken update files

However I'm unable to complete the installation of Windows 10 Mobile (10.0.10586.164) update

the solution will be to rollback to 8.1 and do the upgarde process again

The problem with missing keyboard and restarts was resolved after factory reset of new Win10 installation, so that's not an issue any longer. However I'd like to avoid downgrading the phone in order to fix that error.
Any other proposal?
