New desktop Outlook is a bad idea. Here's why.

The moment microsoft pulls yet another stupid classic move, this time on the Outlook 365 Desktop app, that's when I'll block every future update to Office 365 on my Surface Pro 7+, or switch back to last non-subscribtion version of Office. If I wanted privacy-violating, web-based crap everywhere, I'd settle for a Chromebook.

I'll always be in a favour of offline native apps over web-apps, if I wanted a web-app I'd just use my browser.

Still, thankfully there's always Thunderbird.

I'm sick and tired of the Outlook sycophants. I LOVE the Mail and Calendar apps. They are capable of all the things I NEED and don't have all the stupid garbage Outlook has. Outlook is absolutely, without question, user-spiteful if you are a touch screen user. It us all but unusable on touch screens. Something as basic as SWIPE FUNCTIONS...completely missing from Outlook. It is GARBAGE.
