New to Windows Phone

Here maps is separate... The onboard default "Maps" is MSN Maps.

For a great Weather experience (and I searched a lot of Weather Apps including Bug) I like Amazing Weather HD... The radar is a static shot so I just supplemented with the new NOAA Radar App which has some cool abilities like saved locations for quick zooming to areas you are interested in monitoring. Of course NOAA Radar just covers the US, but Amazing Weather HD is worldwide and gets great reviews internationally. I used Amazing on a recent overseas trip and it juggled multiple cities very nicely.

Thanks everyone. Is the "Here" maps people have referred to the one titled "Maps" that come reinstalled on the phone or something else? Just asking because so far the reinstalled Maps app seems to be very nice. I tried GMaps+ and was immediately put off by pop ups and ads so I uninstalled it. Is there a paid version of that to remove ads?

I've had trouble finding paid versions of apps with no ads. Most aren't to bad but I use weatherbug a lot and would love to pay for ad removal.
