I downloaded it using Nokia care suite, there is a thread about the update in the 920 forum. Not sure when it will be release ota

It's in the new firmware! We now have Never as an option.

Its FIXED!!! yay my bright red Lumia 1520 now stays on, on my desk at work ALL DAY LONG in all its glory! iphone users cant resist ogling it as they walk past.

ii had the 920 and it had the never option..
my current 1020 doesnt have it ..

so i concluded back then, that if u had a LCD screen, you can set it to never.. if its an Amoled screen you cant..

because you get "screen burns" in amoled screens, if the pixels dont change color every few mins..
thats why glance screen changes its position ever so slightly..
