Nextgen Reader | Twitter integration broken?

I have the updated version of Nextgen Reader, but I cannot share via Twitter. It shows connected, but isn't listed when attempting to share. Has anyone else experienced this?

It has never worked since 8.1 Preview. I use Tweet This as a workaround. Tweet This! | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

Twitter itself needs to update their app for WP8.1 to make it possible to post from any app to Twitter, also waiting for the update here

I reached out to Nextgen support and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. The fix is to disable OS sharing. Once this is done, an option to post is available for facebook and Twitter. Posts work great now.
