HTC 8x lock screen problem

Guys. I have a strange problem with my HTC 8X. When I try to unlock the phone by lock/unlock key, the phone unlocks when the brightness setting is kept on high. However if it is on automatic/low/medium, the phone unlocks but the screen appears black. If I keep locking unlocking a few times, then only the screen shows up.
Kindly help?

Can you post your OS version ? If you are using windows phone 8.1 Developer preview , are you talking about live lock screen app (beta) ?

Yes I am using the windows phone 8.1 developers preview... But this problem started when I was using windows phone 8.
No I am not taking about the live lock screen app.. It's the normal lock screen which is faulty

Update: After 3 months it got fixed automatically
