Problem purchasing apps through Mobile operator

Im trying to purchase apps through my mobile operator, o2 ireland. The option to do this is there by default in my store. It gives the price and says "vat included will be charged to o2 ireland".

Every time I enter buy, I get an error "cant connect, were having trouble connecting to the store at the moment, try again in a little while"

The store is working perfectly otherwise. Im on pay as you go, so maybe thats the problem. Anyone ever buy apps using this method ??

Just to update my own issue for anyone else having similar problems. This has been resolved by turning mobile data on in settings. I had it off. I have now successfully purchased apps from the store using my mobile phone credit
